PERRIS — The Riverside County Transportation Commission and project partners continue constructing the 74-215 Interchange (also known as the 4th Street Interchange).
Freeway lane and ramp closures will be necessary to allow for lighting, electrical work and paving of the drainage trench. In addition, the speed limit along the project area has been reduced to 55 mph, which will remain in place for the duration of the project.
Closures are required as follows, weather and contractor’s resources permitting:

A closure of the outside lane will be required from 8 pm to 4 am the following morning. No detour will be required since one travel lane will remain open at all times.

Thursday, January 12
A full ramp closure will be required from 8 pm to 4 am the following morning. During this closure, motorists will be directed to use the Nuevo Road off-ramp, turn right onto Nuevo Road and right on Perris Blvd. to connect with 4th Street/Redlands Avenue.

Thursday, January 12
A full ramp closure will be required from 8 pm to 4 am the following morning. During this closure, motorists can continue north on Redlands Avenue, turn left onto Nuevo Road to connect with the northbound I-215 on-ramp.

A full ramp closure will be required from 9 pm to 5 am the following morning. During this closure, motorists can travel south on Perris Blvd. to Case Road to connect with the southbound I-215 on-ramp.

In Effect through the End of Project
The freeway speed limit has been reduced to 55 mph. New speed limit signs have been posted. Please be aware that traffic fines increase in the construction zone.

 The project will pave the way for better traffic flow, easier access to downtown Perris and improved connections to both north and south Interstate 215. The project will replace the current two-lane bridge over the freeway with an eight-lane bridge, realign freeway ramps, widen streets, replace stop signs with traffic signals, add a sidewalk north of the bridge and build residential sound walls. Throughout construction, please remember to Slow for the Cone Zone!

PERRIS — La Comisión de Transporte del Condado de Riverside (RCTC) y los asociados al proyecto continúan construyendo la Intersección 74-215 (también conocida como la Intersección de 4th Street).
Cierres de carriles y rampas de la autopista se requieren para permitir trabajos de iluminación, electricidad y pavimentación de la zanja de drenaje. Además, el límite de velocidad por el área del proyecto ha sido reducido a 55 mph y permanecerá en lugar durante el proyecto.

Un cierre total de rampa se llevara a cabo desde 8 pm a 4 am el siguiente día. Durante este cierre, conductores serán dirigidos a utilizar la rampa de salida Nuevo Road, girar a la derecha en Nuevo Road y girar a la derecha en Perris Blvd. para conectar al 4th Street/Redlands Avenue.

En Efecto hasta el Fin del Proyecto
El límite de velocidad de la autopista se ha reducido a 55 mph. Se han puesto nuevo signos indicando el límite de velocidad. Por favor esté atento que aumentan multas de tráfico en las zonas de construcción.

El proyecto pavimentará la calle para mejorar el flujo del tráfico, el acceso al centro de Perris y las conexiones al sur y al norte de la Interestatal 215. El proyecto reemplazará el actual puente de dos carriles sobre la autopista por un puente de ocho carriles, realineará rampas de la autopista, ampliará calles, reemplazará señales de parada por semáforos, adicionará una banqueta para peatones al norte del puente y construirá barreras residenciales contra el sonido. Durante la construcción, por favor recuerde ¡Reducir la Velocidad en Zona de Conos!
